Socialise

Hello monde! Another novella Today;

SMS after SMS, 'But daddy,' she says. 'I really couldn't send any less
Brother sits by his laptop; raiding - The social life is fading
Daddy's cooking by the grill - This is, what he thinks a thrill
Mother sits alone by the table, so able, so nice - she wants the family to socialise

heeellooooo

YES! pengar! =D

Double ouch!

Today I did the stretching-session which I described in the first Challenge-labeled post. It was worse than normal stretching... Much worse. Though, I'm telling you it's doing me good, I am, already, limber than before! :-) Believe it or not that's how it is.

Merry strawberry :-)

Hello Blogosphere!

I've been picking strawberries today, nice little berries they are. And as I rid my bicycle ten miles to them they were even more delicious. 'Now why on earth did he ride his bike ten bloody miles just to pick some strawberries?' you might ask yourselves.
Well, actually I rid about twenty miles, you see I rid it back home again, but that's not the point... There are several reasons why I did this; but primarily because I was going to do some sort of exercising anyway and by riding my bicycle I saved both money and the environment. And also, the good weather did invite one to do something outdoors, didn't it? And by riding the bicycle, I got a chance to do some more of that stretching I promised you (the split challenge).

Well this was my afternoon...

World cups --> United nations --> peace?

Hello Monde!

Today I've been picking strawberries as you might have read... As i was riding my bicycle to the Strawberry-field, I listened to the radio and as I was doing so, I heard the song 'Wavin' flag' (Waving flag --> in proper English). No matter the title of the song, however, it's the lyrics that enthralled me. I have heard that song quite a few times, though, I've never really paid much attention to the lyrics. (I probably thought it was another one of those soccer-rocks-songs and that only manifests, that even I can be wrong) For what I think the song is about; (that may vary from person to person as I am certain you will comprehend) is the unison (between nations), which is accomplished in events such as world cups, song contests etcetera.

When i sat and thought about all this, a strange thought occurred to me: If international events strengthens the bonds between nations, and bonds between nations promotes peace and co-operation then that means that events, such as world cups (Which I by the by hate) prevent wars.

Then another strange thought occurred to me; How can competitions strengthen the bonds between people, doesn't a competition always end with one looser (who goes home with tear-stained eyes) and one winner (who goes home with a big trophy and a soar throat due to all the screaming at the post-match-party arranged by somebody's second cousin with catering company)? And isn't the loser always furious, envious and filled with an urge to take revenge upon the person to whom he has lost.

Really I ought to go to bed... Even I have difficulty seeing how this post is going to be useful to anybody whatsoever.

Whatever...

Thank you for your time and I'm sorry for wasting it //OSS

Überfail...

Hello Readers!

Today I woke up early so that I would be able to listen to the radio show called Rix Morgon Zoo; you see I thought, that I'd heard that the famous baker Leila Lindholm would be on the show. Thus I alarmed my cellular telephone...

After having ascended at ten to six and then having listened about an hour and 15 minutes, however, I thought it odd, that nothing whatsoever had been said about Leila... So I did some reseach and (WHY!) she had been on the show last Friday... Oh yes; dot dot dot

Why didn't I bloody check that last night...

No matter, though; now i got to blog somewhat, didn't I? (Something I haven't been so keen on doing this weekend) (Sorry about that) Hope you liked the short stories, though - because I'm becoming rather fond of them.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Hello Blogosphere!

I didn't write much yeaterday did I? Only a small 15-minutes-to-come-up-with short story before I ate my fresh potatoes, herring and sour cream. However, it was midsummer and thus I find that that is rather acceptable (if you are of another opinion you are wecome to leave a comment).
Today, however, I thought 'Goodness, I do need to write something today,' I couldn't think what, though. So I racked my brains, but in vain. Though later, in the evening, I read somewhat in my Harry potter-book. I read a chapter, in which Dobby (A house-elf whom harry set free in the second book, and who has been his friend ever since) is murdered by a vicious witch called Bellatrix. Harry is, of course, beside himself with grief - and there it was - I wanted to do what I could, what I can for everybody, who is in grief. I don't really know how you feel, because the only one I've lost is my dog and that's not the same thing, i suppose. I don't want to know how it feels either, I just hope I can do something for you by witing this short story - Hope you like it.

PS. You'll find the Short Story further down.

To the desolated and the woebegoned

A soul full of grief, may have lost its belief
For it to be regained, one cannot feel enchained
I'm not saying you should cut your bond... I'm only saying, that you ought to look beyond
Beyond that person, of whom you've been so fond.
You should keep that person deep inside... as a friend, as a person in whom you can confide.

Squirrel + Rabbit = Chinchilla

Hello blogosphere!

Have you seen such an adorable creature elsewhere? It's called a chinchilla and it has it's origins in South-America, more exactly in the mountain range of the Andes. This one is owned by my cousin Elin and it's called either Eskil or Ernst-Edwin.

The good thing about chinchillas is that it's virtiually impossible to develop an allergic reaction when cudling with them. This is because thier fur is so thick and intact that they don't shed like for example cats do. Their quite nice as well, (they don't bite your fingers off), you can teach them to do things (their intelligent), their droppings are dry so they don't smell bad and their (as mentioned before) adorably cute. You dont need to de-talon them either and their happy and playful.
